We are glad to inform you that Grameenphone has already commercially launched 3G on 8th October, 2013 in selected areas. The coverage will be expanded gradually throughout next few months. As each area, city, district comes under coverage it will be notified via our website and on ground activities like media. Currently we are providing 3G service on Dhaka (Bashundhara, Baridhara, Gulshan, Banani) Chitagong (Agrabad) and Sylhet (Zindabazar, Chouhatta, Amberkhana). By the end of November 2013 we plan to expand 3G service in Dhaka metro, Chittagong, Narayanganj (District headquarter) and Gazipur (District headquarter). We will cover 7 divisional cities under 3G network by the end of December 2013. We are expecting that all 64 district cities of Bangladesh will be covered with 3G network by the end of March 2014.
