Dear Mr. Shuttle Driver, When its 90 degrees outside, comfort is - TopicsExpress

Dear Mr. Shuttle Driver, When its 90 degrees outside, comfort is not defined by windows halfway down. Particularly when we sit for extended periods of time in heavy 5 oclock traffic. And when I ask you if we could please turn on the vent to circulate the air, rolling the windows down the rest of the way accompanied by an offer for the front seat, while semi-thoughtful...is still useless to me. Need I remind you that we sit in bumper to bumper traffic? Not moving. No breeze. No help. And while I realize its only 0.9 mile from point A to point B...3 additional stops and 45 minutes later...Im feeling a bit uneasy. And I do understand that we are in metropolitan traffic, but defensive driving does not have to include repetitive, forceful application of the brakes, with your right foot, while coupled with immediate and forceful application of the gas pedal...with your left. In summation, takeaways from todays lesson include--I can tolerate a good bit and generally try to be as flexible as possible, but when I ask you specifically for the air conditioning, it is purely to avoid sharing my lunch with you...of which you are going to partake if you dont stop driving with 2 feet and start adopting some sort of fluid motion on that blasted brake pedal. Warmest regards, Your equilibrium-challenged and violently motion-sensitive passenger
