Dear Mr. Trousdell, Not sure if you still remember me but I was in your grade 11 physics class. To be honest, I hate physics and I am scared of it because my impression on physics are loads of complex equations and theories and only people with an Einstein mind can do it. But you changed my perspective on this, and you made physics look so simple and fun and I enjoyed doing it; your explanations and examples just magically make everything so understandable. I am taking university physics now and there are quite a bit of overlap in materials with what I learnt in grade 11, and this always remind me of your way of teaching- giving us ninja quizzes by fooling all of us with your acting (I still remember you telling us that you fixed the broken mass spectrometer and asked one of us to donate a hair so you can analyze it, turns out theres a quiz underneath the table), doing ridiculously difficult warm up questions for the entire class and so on. You are definitely one of the most thoughtful and dedicated teachers I have met in high school. Without you, I may not have survived the first semester of physics in unversity.
