I dont know where you heard this information, but I assure you that it is not accurate. As a non-political organisation, ALDI UK and Ireland does not boycott products from Israeli settlements, and we certainly do not donate our profits to Israel. Further to this, we do not currently source any products from the Occupied Palestinian Territories. We are committed to responsible sourcing and will continue to work with our suppliers to ensure safe and fair working conditions throughout our supply chain. In terms of labelling, we follow guidelines issued by the Department of Rural Affairs (DEFRA) so that products from the Occupied Palestinian Territories will be labelled as either ‘West Bank (Palestinian produce)’ or ‘West Bank (Israeli settlements),’ giving customers the information they need to make informed buying decisions.
