Dear Ocean Science Colleagues: A reminder to complete this important needs assessment by Monday, October 6th, 2014. The National Centers of Ocean Science Education Excellence (COSEE) Network is in the process of transitioning from a National Science Foundation (NSF) sponsored network to an independent consortium: Consortium for Ocean Science Exploration and Engagement (COSEE). Membership in the next generation of COSEE will not be restricted to institutions funded by NSF, but it is open to all ocean science research and academic institutions and organizations with a mission to promote ocean science research and ocean literacy. In addition, to institutional memberships, COSEE will begin accepting individual members in late 2014. As COSEE makes this transition, we are seeking input. The Consortium seeks to meet the broader communitys needs and assess how this new network of institutions and individuals can best meet the needs of ocean scientists and educators.
