Dear Ole Farmer, The period January 30-31 will be dedicated to the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Government Farm School on January 25, 1910. The occasion which is celebrated on the last Saturday of each year, under the permanent theme Celebration our legacy-Creating Visions of Excellence; seeks to recognize the tremendous roles played by the founding fathers of the institution: Sir Sydney Olivier, Rt. Rev. Enos Nuttall and Mr. Herbert Cousins; in the founding of our noble Alma Mater; to inculcate within the current student population an appreciation of the tremendous legacy of which they are the beneficiaries and to intellectually stimulate and inspirationally motivate them to pursue excellence in their future endeavours. Friday January 30 - Intellectual stimulation Day will take the form of a symposium during which Ole Farmers and other eminent scientists are invited to present relevant papers based on scientific adaptive or academic research conducted by the presenters. Saturday January 31 - Inspirational Motivation Day will have a formal ceremony in the morning during which we will have a government ministerial address, recognition of the Distinguished Ole Farmer of Excellence awardee, donation of scholarships to deserving students and the donation of gifts to the College among other activities. The afternoon will see Ole Farmers engaging present students in competitive game of dominoes, football, volley ball, netball, table tennis in what promises to be an exciting and fun filled day, We look forward to having you join us at the CASE West Campus over the period January 30 - 31,2015 for the celebration of this very significant milestone in the life of the institution primarily responsible for making us who we have been able to become.
