Dear Omkar, I am agree with you that Right to Recall cannot be an answer for accountability of elected representatives in Parliament and state legislature. In fact, it would add to an another major issue in politics of our country. Instead of struggling for such complex solutions for reformation of polity, we should emphasize for an implementation of Sec. 3 of Prevention of Corruption Act. This section has given all the powers by parliament to the government to appoint as many as judges they require to try and decide any corruption cases within six months. Secondly, it is extremely important to give financial independence to judiciary as it is judicially independent. In present situation, though our judiciary is judicially independent, unfortunately, it is financially dependant on our parliament and state legislature. And hence, we cannot afford to waste our time criticizing anybody as to who said what and not and must work towards reform as mentioned above aggressively for constructive change in our political and social change.
