Dear PTCL I had one of the most outrageous conversations with one of your call center agents, the reason i called was that since yesterday my evo wingle was not performing as well as it used to which was sort of a new thing since i had not experienced any problems since i had bought it. I was getting little or no downloading done as well as no browsing, when i inquired as to the reason, he told me that you guys had unilaterally decided to downgrade the download limit on all postpaid packages to 30 GB max and that i had expended my 30 GB and now there was nothing to be done except for wait for the next month when the limit would be replenished. This is insane! I dont know what monkey you have there redesigning your packages but they sure as hell are doing a bloody pathetic job! First of all there was no notification of this downgrade, a notice on a webpage does not suffice! when you can send a dozen text messages asking for bill payments to be made you can surely send a text message the news terms of use. Second what sort of an image do you want to portray? I asked him the reason for the downgrade he said it was to discourage downloading...well one of the primary uses of the internet is to download stuff what do you not have enough bandwidth? you have the largest network, youve practically got a monopoly! so why the stinginess in bandwidth? or do you want to discourage people from using your wireless devices? Third, the new eid package that you are offering is for 1250 per month offering the same download limit as i am being offered 30 GB and i am paying 1500 per month for the same service, why should I? what sort of message are you trying to send? that the existing customers are stupid? when you decreased the download limit you should have also decreased the tariff and it should have been uniform for all customers, And one more thing i used to pay 1500 for 50 GB, i was told that now if i want the same download limit i would need to pay 3200 per month? this is insane how could you do that especially with the advent of 3g in the telco market? do you want to give the competition an advantage? in my view this is a failure for your product development and marketing team, i sincerely hope they come to their senses.
