Dear Parents, Coaches and Management Team! What a week the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it! Welcome to our final day of Witness to the World Soccer Bible Camp here at Eastside Lutheran. Its been a tremendous week with a great coaching staff who have volunteered their entire week to be with your children. To have 46 coaches this week working various days and helping other age groups when they were short was nothing short of amazing, beautiful, fun, encouraging, working as team, loving, building friendships, inspirational and honestly just awesome to be a part of it. Special thanks to our Monday and Tuesday bathroom attendees, Jim and Helen Price and to my assistant all week Mr Ben Rank, who did a marvelous job preparing skits and devotions all week and finally I would like to thank a man who offered great encouragement all week to everyone around camp, Pastor Glen! Parents this is your day too participate with your children and for you to show them your soccer skills, here is todays schedule! However first I want to thank Bob Worm a member of Eastside Lutheran and owner of the Essen Haus for donating all the food today for the BBQ that begins at 4:10pm. PLEASE BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS-NO TABLES OR CHAIRS WILL BE AVAILABLE ! Witness to the World Tournament, Friday, July 11th – No Skills Demo, Devotion is at 2:30pm instead of 3:00pm 12:45-1:45pm- Coaches play fun games as kids arrive, stretch, warm-up, games (Little Kickers (4-5) until 2:00pm) 1:45-2:15pm-Tournaments for Age Groups 6,7,8,9,10-13 (Parents (if not enough parents then coaches) vs Participants) after games please head to Team Brazil area and gather around fields and cheer the Little Kickers age 4-5 vs their parents. 2:00-2:25pm-Tournament continues Little Kickers, Age 4 & 5 vs. Parents on two fields. Ages 6-13 (2:15-2:30 gather around as spectators for the Little Kickers Tournament) two fields and encourage and cheer them on! 2:30-3:10pm- Devotion We are Witnesses of Jesus In everything we think, do, and say we are witnesses of what Jesus has done for us. We know he has a plan for us all and it works for the good of those who love him. Thank you Principal Ben Rank for preparing the devotions and skits all week! 3:15-3:45pm-Witness to the WORLD CUP FINAL- Coaches vs. Ages 6-13 Participants (Ages 4-5 are spectators on side along with any participants who dont want to participate) Tournament, After WORLD CUP FINAL 6-13 age groups vs Coaches All parents back to the USA Stage area near the big tree near playground to get ready for the World Cup tunnel Run! 3:50-4:00pm World Cup tunnel run, Coaches LINE UP in following order with your coaches, Age 10-13, Age 9, Age 8, Age 7, age 6, age 4-5 4:00 - 4:10pm Meet at the USA stage area for thank yous (Bill and Ben) and prayer (Pastor Glen) 4:10 – 5:30pm BBQ compliments of Bob Worm and the Members of Eastside. Eastside Lutheran invites all participants, coaches and management teams to be a part of worship this Sunday July 13th, 8:00 & 10:30 AM, as it is Witness to the World Soccer Camp Sunday. We encourage you to wear your jerseys and t-shirts to show our WORLD you were a part of soccer camp and serving the Lord gladly as missionaries! In the lobby of the church entrance parents you can pick up your individual pictures!
