Dear Parents and Advocates, Please join us at the annual public forum held by the State Superintendent’s Council on Special Education. The purpose for this forum is to gather input on the successes and challenges of special education from Wisconsin families, school administrators, educators, community representatives, and others. Information gathered will be used by the council in advising the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) on matters affecting the education of Wisconsin’s children and youth with disabilities. The council is receptive to hearing about any topic upon which people may choose to comment. This public forum will be held Monday, October 13 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the Wilderness Hotel, Sandstone 2,7 (511 East Adams St., Wisconsin Dells).
