Dear Parents and Carers of Year 6 students, What will Year 7’s be learning in 2015? We welcome you to a Parent Information Night at Broome Senior High School where a representative from each of the Learning Areas within the school will present an overview of the curriculum which will be taught to Year 7 students in 2015. • This will be an opportunity to understand the big picture for year 7’s in 2015. • Heads of Learning Area and Year 7 subject teachers will be able to answer your questions about courses and expectations in 2015. • Questions can be answered about the ‘Australian Curriculum’ and what this means for Education in Australia. • Information given about an Academic Extension Program for year 7 and 8 • An opportunity to tour the new ARTS building.
