Dear Parents and junior players (& Auskickers turning 8 in 2015) We invite all parents and junior players to a pre-xmas get together and information evening on Friday 28th November 2014 from 6.30pm Cora Lynn Senior Ground - BBQ sausages & Activities Re-registration, and new to footy registrations can be completed on the night. Planning for 2015: Due to changes in Ellinbank league the: • Senior Club will field 4 teams in the Ellinbank League being U16s, U18s, reserves and seniors. • Junior Club will field an u14s team South East Juniors (SEJ). The juniors will advertise for players in all age groups from U9s though to U14s but anticipate it may be difficult to field u11s and u13s on current numbers. We have discussed some options with SEJ including: • Playing home u14s games at Cora Lynn on Friday nights and preferably with another one of our juniors teams (ie U12s). • re-opening the junior to senior club permit system that encourages a path way to the senior club for those playing u14s • considering a derby day with KWR and / or Nar Nar Goon prior to Saturday senior club games (although this will be more difficult to manage for SEJ) Training • u14s to train at Cora Lynn with the U16s on Thursday evenings. • No changes for other junior teams - U9s through to U12s will train at Pakenham Upper on Wednesday evenings (but some flexibility for those currently with the senior club) Your preferences – Expression of Interest We would like to take into account your preferences in developing the team lists for 2015. In considering your expression of interest preferences may be given to: • players playing as close as possible to their own age group; and • having an even distribution of players across all teams to maximise game time for all For players turning 11 to 14 in 2015 please let us know on the 28th Nov (or before via email – cobrajuniorsfc@gmail ) 1. What age group would you like your child to play in and why? 2. If that age group is not available what other age group will you consider? 3. Will Friday night home games be suitable for all home games for U14s and some for U12s? 4. Other Hope to see you on the 28th November.
