Dear Partners, Greetings from University of Malaya. We are pleased to inform you that the e-inbound application for Semester II, 2014/2015 Session (February 2015 intake) will be open from 30 September 2014 (after 1.00 pm) until 30 October 2014 (12.00 midnight). Nominated student can visit the online application link at e-inbound.um.edu.my/ or visit our website at isc.um.edu.my for application. 1. Eligibility to Apply · Registered as an active student in home university; · Have completed at least one academic year of study in home university; · Nominated officially by home university (an official coordinator’s full name and email address is required); · Have good academic standing with CGPA not less than 3.0 or equivalent; · Have good command of English in speaking and writing (Note: English requirement for courses in Faculty of Business & Accountancy: IELTS (academic) Band 6, TOEFL 550). 2. Important Documents for e-inbound application · Recent Passport Size Photograph (unaltered by computer software) · Latest Academic Result/Transcript certified by home university · English language Examination Result certified by home university (IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC/others) · Sponsor’s Offer Letter (if any) · Nomination through University Malaya’s member institution (AIMS, AUN, etc) · Support Letter From Home University It is the student responsibility to make sure the online form is filled up accordingly. Please note that incomplete application will not be process and is considered unsuccessful. 3. Important Note · Please make sure that the number of student nominated to participate in UMSEP is as stated in the MoU/MoA. · The courses listed in the e-inbound system are final at the time the e-inbound system is activated however there may be slight changes during the beginning of the semester due to undisclosed reason. · University of Malaya from time to time will notify home university’s coordinator for any matter related to student exchange programme. · Student is advised to keep a copy of the application for reference. In the event we did not receive the application, we will require the student to submit to our office a complete application form together with all the related documents via email/postal airmail/courier. Please make sure the postal and email addresses are accurate. · All fees charge to the student will be stated in the offer letter issued by University Malaya. University Malaya will not be responsible for any service fees charge by third party. · The guideline for UMSEP is provided in the e-inbound system.
