Dear Political Party who just called, No, I will not vote for your partys ticket as you requested. I will, however, vote for the candidates that I think will do the best job. As with most years, that will include candidates from both parties and independents. Given the voracity of the callings and mailings - the sheer amount of money being poured into the election this year - makes me want to modulate the vote someone receives by the out of elected area funds spent on their behalf. I know that wont work as people love to exploit loopholes, but I can think of a few races where it would change the outcome, some right here where I live. Tell me how you will work with the other party for the greater good and I might give you more than 5 seconds on the phone or on my doorstep. Signed, Grumpy Voter
