Dear Postgraduate Students, You are hereby invited to submit your abstracts for the following event: 8th AOTULE Postgraduate and Workshop Conference Date: October 17-19, 2013 Venue: Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand Theme: Towards a Sustainable Society through Engineering The conference will be held in conjunction with the 8th AOTULE Deans’ and Administration Staff Meeting. The objective of the conference is to serve as a platform for postgraduate students from AOTULE member universities and international institutions to facilitate the dissemination and exchange of knowledge, information and latest issues across disciplines in engineering and technology. The conference theme covers a broad spectrum of topics in engineering, science and technologies. Postgraduate students in the following research fields are encouraged to submit a 1-page extended abstract to this conference: 1. Chemical/Bio-Chemical Engineering/Material Engineering 2. Civil Engineering/Environment Engineering 3. Electrical/Electronic Engineering/computer and communication Engineering 4. Industrial/Manufacturing Systems Engineering 5. Mechanical Engineering 6. Agricultural/Irrigation/Water Resources Engineering 7. Other Engineering Disciplines (Bioengineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Marine Engineering, etc. A maximum of two abstracts may be submitted by the same presenting author on different topics. All abstracts should be prepared in English and written using terminologies such that they can be understood by students outside your engineering discipline. There are only oral sessions available. Details of the sessions will be announced after the abstract acceptance deadline. The template for the 1-page extended abstract is as per attachment. CANDIDATES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SUBMIT THEIR ABSTRACTS TO AOTULE SECRETARIAT. Abstract received after the date, not according to the format and not via proper channel will not be taken into consideration. You have to attach your abstracts together with the registration form as per attachment. All forms can be downloaded from AOTULE website. Incomplete forms/abstracts will not be processed.
