Dear Pound Ridgers current and past, I will be co-chairing a business plan competition (napecinnovation) at the Marriott East Side Hotel (Lexington/49th Street) on the afternoon/evening of Saturday, 12 April. In front of an audience (you!), Judges will watch and question the presentations made by 6 companies and ultimately divide $20,000 in prizes among them. After the competition, there will be a reception, a few keynote speeches (I think 2), and the awarding of the prizes. There will be coffee and snacks in the afternoon/evening and during the reception, there will be food and an open bar. The event is sponsored by Borsa Istanbul (the Istanbul Stock Exchange). There were over 100 business plans submitted originally. If the registration fee is a bar to your attendance, please send me a private message and Ill see what I can do.
