Dear Professor Dajani, You know about my project from Oze Rosenberg, I am a veteran Polish-American filmmaker, a child-survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto, my last film NEVER FORGET TO LIE deals with this experience: pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/never-forget-to-lie/ As someone who experienced the occupation in my childhood, I am sick and tired of this conflict not be solved for so many years and I speak as a person, not a Jew, a Pole, an American, my film has one goal: to find Palestinians with open minds who I can build an honest moral and intellectual bridge with - to show that these people are able to work out the and to the hatred and the exploitation of history to achieve political goals. You are one of such Palestinians. Your courage should show the way to other people on both sides. No intelligent Palestinian should question the need of students to know/ experience the Jewish Holocaust, but your critics clink in this NORMALIZATION mantra, which even if accepted as a political position - should not apply to academic matters and academic freedom. with my warmest regards, Marian
