Dear Prospective Donor: Our 6TH ANNUAL “PINK RIBBON WALK” is being held on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Prior to the walk, we have a ceremony to commemorate the women that have passed away from Breast Cancer. A prayer is read and then our BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS release butterflies into the sky. We then announce our final count of how much money we have raised this year. The walk then starts and is about 1 mile. We would appreciate any donation / gift certificate that your company could offer to us. This is our 6th year of our walk and we have raised and donated between $30 - $40K per year to the Space Coast Cancer Care Foundation headed up by Dr. Levine, a noted Oncologist in Brevard County. There are individual teams and our Team is called “THE PINK PANTHERS”, thus our logo which is on the top of this letter along with this year’s walk logo. We are asking our local businesses in Brevard County for any type of donations that they can offer. Our team is sponsoring two (2) fundraisers. One is a BINGO GAME and the other is at Milliken’s Reef Restaurant in Port Canaveral. We are looking for small items as well as large items to raffle off. If you are located close to our area, please try to attend our event and meet all our wonderful volunteers and vendors for this event. The Pink Ribbon Stage is located in an area between Baja’s Restaurant and Fishlip’s Restaurant. The date is October 5, 2013 and the hours for registration for the walk are 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. The Port Fest Festival starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. We have many attractions that are for families, and we have the annual “Bed & Bath Tub Races” which are quite funny and home made by the Restaurants at the Port. There are plenty of food vendors and this is a “family oriented” festival and it is FREE!
