Dear Public Health Colleagues, Kuwait University is pleased to announce the establishment of a new Faculty (School) of Public Health at its Health Sciences Center (hsc.edu.kw/FOPH/) . Kuwait University was established in 1966 and currently has 15 faculties The Faculty of Public Health forms the fifth college in the Health Sciences Center, which already includes Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Allied Health Sciences. The initial five departments include Epidemiology and Biostatistics; Health Policy and Management; Environmental and Occupational Health; Social and Behavioural Sciences; and Public Health Practice. The Faculty is actively recruiting academic staff, including inaugural leadership positions (Dean and Chairpersons).
