Dear Public Officials, With the failure of border enforcement, - TopicsExpress

Dear Public Officials, With the failure of border enforcement, there are at least two major health crises now in the US: Ebola, and Enterovirus 68 (cdc.gov/non-polio-enterovirus/about/EV-D68.html) Both of these result from a lack of resolve to fulfill the duty defined by law and funded by tax dollars: to protect the American people. Enterovirus 68 is likely imported through the southern border failure. Local hospitals are now being warned about this threat, and, with the population of illegal migrant children, exposure is almost certain in the schools. Our young are in danger from a disease that should not be here based on the systems we have already defined and funded. In Leander ISD, Pertussis was a common problem in spite of tight regulation. Again, exposure came through failure to enforce the immigration laws due to a lack of resolve on the part of public officials. And schools are mandated to include illegals in the education system (Plyler v Doe 1982). And now I learn that the government is funding charities who accept migrant orphaned children; essentially making a profitable business out of illegal trade in migrants. The government that suppressed human trafficking (Civil War) is now engaged in human trafficking. Again, it is a lack of resolve to protect ourselves that endangers us. It is not a lack of technology, manpower, or defined processes. Unless we are willing to identify the failure appropriately, we will not be able to rightly guard ourselves in the future. If we are prevented from guarding ourselves through regulation, deliberate negligence, or official treachery, then we are betrayed by those who we pay to protect us. God, help them. Please exercise diligence in your service to eradicate illegal migration. Illegal migration places your constituents at risk.
