Dear Queens University, Yesterday really struck a cord with me. I engaged in some pretty intense debate on feminism & mens issues. I went to a gallery talk on African art and caught a world class exhibit on Rembrandts circle. I balanced the books for a student-owned company, worked out at a beautiful gym, was served lunch by students while studying evolutionary medicine, had tea with a prof to chat Cezanne scholarship and capped it all off with battle of the bands at a student-owned pub. Sometimes I take for granted how privileged we are as university students for all these opportunities. When being challenged academically, socially, physically and professionally is kind of a regular Thursday, Ive got to say, were a part of an unbelievable community. Thanks Queens, student for a short time, alumni for a life time. Cha gheill :)
