Dear Relax Shack members I am reluctant to do this but after all - TopicsExpress

Dear Relax Shack members I am reluctant to do this but after all that has been stated, I fear this is trial by accusation rather the fact. What follows is a letter ( my third letter since deliver of this ladies building) . I want to state there are always a few sides to each story, by no means are we completely innocent, we were late ( trailer manufacturer really put us behind) and I had way too many projects going at the same time, we build every day. We strive to do good work, we are a family business, we are always accessible via phone, text, email etc. All our information is published . We back up our work given the opportunity. Thanks for your patience , I wish you all a healthy and happy holiday season. Thanks Bill. I removed the name for privacy purposes ........... Dear Tiny House Customer I attempted to contact you two times via email the day your building was delivered, In case you had any questions about the systems etc. I spoke to Chris ( the driver) that it was delivered safely . I see you have posted a number of comments of the repairs you had to make, and that you had 220 volt appliances and that I could not read. As you know we discussed your power needs and you requested it be wired only for 110 , I did as requested in your prior emails as this is how your campground requested it, I also told you that any electrician in about 5 minutes could switch it quickly over to 220 if your power needs changed, evidently you did not understand this or read the email. . If you had any questions about the materials or workman ship I would have expected you to contact me immediately to see if I could shed any light on your questions or be given an opportunity to do any needed repairs as that we warranty our work, but you must first contact us before taking on any changes or repairs to our work....in fairness to us I feel you were remiss in not contacting us via phone, email , text or mail for these deficiencies.....on a secondary note with out contacting us you have begun a slanderous campaign against me , my company and family who have acted as a gentleman through this entire process until you wanted to pick up your building with out first paying for it,I simply requested certified funds upon receipt of your building , you got very upset and said you would send me a check and that you were good for it .....well I thought about the delays due to the trailer being late , subsequently I reduced the original price by approx 1,500.00 for it being late and did not charge you for approximately $ 4,700.00 worth or additional work: see below 1. Two tone paint job verses single natural color. $ 1,500.00 2. Painting the entire inside white a tremendous undertaking verses an all natural Polyeurethane finish as all our previous projects including the ones you had seen at the shop $ 1,200.00 3. Closet enclosure framed, trimmed , cabinet doors and painted above the bathroom. $950.00 4. Framed wall and shelving unit adjacent to laundry. $600.00 5. Cabinet for dishwasher ( most dishwashers sit on the floor) including large draw. $450.00 This work I did not charge you for in an effort to make it right between us This being said you threatened me with this campaign of slanderous statements because I insisted on getting paid. You also threatened me when you came to visit me in October that if it was not done and you were in that you would go after me publicly on social media , you said you would make my life a living hell. All the framing was done, appliances were there, plenty of time to inspect clearances etc. At this time we discussed the shower and the ginormous shower head and wand attachment that subsequently could only fit in one location on the shower ( it needed two flat spots at almost 30 apart) the shower head is Huge.....we did what we could with it, if you wanted to change the head to raise it that is an easy fix but you can not utilize that monstrous assembly. Dear Tiny House Client I have been nothing but a gentleman and understanding, I was as upset with the trailer manufacturer as you, you knew I needed 12 weeks to build after receipt of the trailer. I asked you to contact me if you had any problems or questions you opted not to contact me and hire enumorous tradesmen who you said told you , that you have been taken. In all fairness you have not told me of any specific problems or allowed me a chance to remedy them. I have acted as a gentleman throughout this process. You must have known you wanted many many amenities in your tiny house, full shower, washer dryer, dish washer, refrigerator / freezer in a draw, with an ice maker, large composting toilet , a staircase with storage built in, a complete walk in closet across the back ( I stated enumouros times the commitment of space to clothing was more then any other tiny house, a stove with oven, and a full size double sink, a full width fold down deck , a taller sleeping loft with five windows and a skylight in the loft, recessed lighting with ( LED bulbs we purchased for you) and a storage loft over the double french doors. This is a lot to fit on a 22 trailer. Tiny House Client I see you have already started your slanderous campaign. As you know our business is Internet based and I hope you can reconsider your actions . This is my third attempt to contact you , and you seem to be completely ignoring me. You have not sent me a list of the repairs for me to have a chance to remedy. Please feel free to contact me at any time to try and rectify any problems you may be having. I also respectfully ask this be our business. Thank you for the project Bill Rockhill owner Bear Creek Carpentry Woodgate, New York 13494 315 369 8825
