Dear Residents, I wanted to take a moment to communicate with the residential community in regards to the internet issues we have been experiencing. The Residence Life & Housing Office here on campus and our corporate headquarters are working toward a permanent solution to the continued issues with internet speed and concerns over the customer service provided by our current vendor. Our goal is to have a new vendor in place this spring. Until then, if you should experience issues with your internet service, please place a trouble ticket with Eleisure and inform my office of your issue. Here in our office, we are not notified by Eleisure of any trouble tickets that have been submitted nor do we have any monitoring device for the internet service. We rely on residents informing us of issues. For those residents that have come directly to my office and informed me of issues, I have been able to work with Eleisure to rectify the problem and restore service. I encourage all of you that when you experience a problem, submit a trouble ticket with Eleisure and then contact my office with your ticket number so that we can work to ensure that your problem is addressed in a timely manner. My office is located in the University Columns Clubhouse. Amy deVargas is our Office Manager and if I am not available then she can assist you. You are welcome to stop by the clubhouse or you can call us at 318-214-5414. My office is here to assist you with any concerns or issues that you have in the residential community – not just the internet. Please do not hesitate to stop by or to call. If I am not available, then Amy deVargas can assist you as well. I do apologize for the issues with the internet and I know that it has been a frustrating experience for many of you.
