Dear SJS Family, I would ask that you please consider this - TopicsExpress

Dear SJS Family, I would ask that you please consider this letter a formal request for financial assistance in assisting St. Joseph’s School, located at #123 Franklin St. in the City of Petersburg, VA, in the development of a T-Ball Program/Athletic Program. St. Joseph’s School currently serves not only families from surrounding Cities and Counties, but also Military dependents at Fort Lee as well as disadvantaged youth struggling to find a place to thrive and experience a “complete”, quality, academic and athletic education. The investment in a child’s future now, could prevent great pain in their future... However, due to budget constraints within the school and with existing funds raised during volunteer fundraisers earmarked for academic programs, St. Joseph’s is unable to find the necessary funds to initiate a formalized T-Ball Team/Athletic Program, which is my goal. A review of the current inventory of equipment (batting helmets, baseballs, bats, basketballs, soccer balls, protective gear, netting for soccer goals etc.) at St. Joseph’s School dates back in excess of 15-20 years and is in most cases beyond repair. I think all would agree that a Physical Fitness/Athletic/T-Ball Program augments any education in addition to providing an outlet for youthful exuberance that can often lead to negative results in a young person’s life. It is with this in mind, I submit this request for your consideration. ANY assistance you (or your organization) can provide will be greatly appreciated. *This is a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation and a letter will be sent to your organization when the donation is received. Thank you for your consideration. Your POC for this request will be: Carl L. Moore 804.479.0064 cmoore@petersburg-police ~ What is each day but a series of conflicts between the right way and the easy way... Checks/Donations can be made out to: St. Joseph’s School T-Ball/Athletic Program.
