In your speech you mentioned, Its hard to believe my wonderful journey is coming to an end. In this context may I say, journey never ends, we have to travel till we get finally meshed with the ALMIGHTY. I hung up my shoes after serving INDIAN ARMY for 35 years on 31 Jul 11. On the last day of my service I wrote following lines, would like to share with you, RETIRE OR RE-ATTIRE Brig T K Roy Shall re-attire on 31Jul11, been doing so from day one. It was thread less, then came first attire. Time passed, shape changed, Place, position, pattern, need, ambition. Changes after changes forced re- attirement. Some with love, some compulsion. Need was only an attire to keep going. Not to be burden but supporting. Ambition, oh - yes but path was hidden. God is great He knew the ambition. duty and requirement.
