Reminder Of Surah Ar-Rahman Surah Ar-Rahman Vs 16 فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ “Then which of the favors, miracles, wonders, powers, feats, gifts, and blessings will you both deny and deliberately lie against?” AYAH 16 Ālā’ are: favors, miracles, wonders, powers, feats, gifts, blessings. Who is ‘both of you’? Allāh has not mentioned jinn in this sūrah yet. What does tukadhibān mean? The basic translation is to lie against. A contemporary meaning: A person lives a life of luxury and yet this person isnt appreciative of anything. They have everything but appreciate nothing. All they think about is what they don’t have. For such a person, this is a proof of denial of what has been given to them. They have a sense of entitlement. Isnt this the height of ingratitude? The more we have, the more obsessed we are with getting more. Instead of looking at people who have less than us, our eyes are always focused on those who have more. What favors are you going to be in denial of? Ask yourself: What makes me deserve this life of luxury and that person to deserve those trials? It is nothing but the Mercy of Allāh. You are being tested with luxury, and others are being tested with something else. You dont deserve it, but Allāh decided it. If there is one thing we can focus on in this seminar is Allāh’s Mercy is not for those who deny His Favors. Allāh is angry with the people who are in denial that there are favors being done to them. Teenagers and the young youth are becoming increasingly arrogant and self-absorbed and hot-tempered and apathetic. Theyve become the “whatever” generation. The more you can act like nothing affects you and that you are above the comments and advice of others, it is a show of weakness. It is becoming difficult for our youth to be humble to Allāh and to cry in prayer. The culture is encouraging people to become so self-absorbed that they are having a hard time being humble to Allāh. This is a very serious problem. When someone denies favors, they are full of pride. O servants of Allah, remember Allah and He will remember you. Be grateful for His benevolence He will increase His blessings to you. Allah, the Most High, says, and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do. (Al Ankaboot: 45). - May Allah help us do what pleases Him and safeguard us against what causes His wrath and punishment O Allah make the language of the Quran beloved to us, help us to protect it and master it. May Allah enlighten our hearts and grant us the good understanding, O the most Beneficent. - O Allah, we pray to You to grant Your forgiveness to who built this mosque and to his or her parents as well as to anyone who gave to this mosque. O Allah, we also supplicate to You to forgive whoever built a mosque where Your name is remembered. O Allah, forgive all of the Muslims, men and women, living and dead, and make blessings follow us and them .And O Lord, forgive and show mercy to our parents, relatives and whoever has done a favour to us. O Allah, we implore You at this instant not to let a sin unforgiven, a distress unrelieved, an illness unhealed or a handicapped without relief, a dead without mercy or a debt unsettled. Our Lord, give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire. - We pray to Allah, the Most Gracious, to preserve the NIGERIA from all temptations, both apparent and hidden, and continue blessing the NIGERIA and all Muslim countries with safety and security. - The Prophet pbuh said, for everyone who invokes a blessing on me will receive ten blessings from Allah. He also said, Nothing turns back the Decree except supplication. May the peace and the blessings of Allah be upon our Master Muhammad pbuh, his family and all his Companions. May Allah be pleased with the Rightly Guided Caliphs: Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali, and all those who will follow them in righteousness till the Day of Judgment.
