Dear Shoppers - Just a note-worthy update this week - meaning it wont be much longer than a note. There will be more and more berries and peaches and summer vegetables throughout the market this week and of course Mike Burner will have lots of meat for the grill as always. Look for black raspberries and red raspberries and sour cherries too. And of course, the corn is as high as an elephants eye by now and the kernels will be plump and sweet. Granted! will have a great selection of cookies, brownies, cupcakes and other goodies for you and will take orders for anything you want for the holiday weekend. And Valley View will have just the bread you need for a wonderful summer bread salad - or for bruschetta with onions and tomatoes and a little spinach thrown in and of course some cheese from Mike Burner. You did know he had cheese, didnt you? Think local this 4th of July - what better way to show your love of country? See you at the market!
