Dear Sir / Madam, Three appeals have been made to the Planning Inspectorate in relation to the location: Abbey Mills Riverine Centre, Canning Road, Stratford, E15 3ND. These appeals relate to: The refusal of the London Borough of Newham to grant outline planning permission in respect of the proposal made as per application reference 12/00358/LTGOUT. The London Borough of Newham refused outline planning permission on 20th December, 2012. The non-determination by the London Borough of Newham of an application for the renewal of temporary planning permission made as per application reference 13/00831/VAR. This application was received by the London Borough of Newham on 17th May, 2013. The issue of an enforcement notice by the London Borough of Newham as per enforcement case reference 13/01138/ENFC. The enforcement notice was issued by the London Borough of Newham on 16th July 2013. Descriptions of the planning applications and enforcement case are at the bottom of this message. The three appeals have been linked by the Planning Inspectorate and are travelling together. The purpose of this e-mail is to advise you, as an interested person, adjoining occupier or statutory consultee of your right to submit representations in writing in respect of all three appeals if you so wish. Details of the above two planning applications, the enforcement notice, and the appeal documentation for all three appeals cases is available for inspection using the Councils online Public Access website at newham.gov.uk/pa using the reference numbers for each case as noted below. Representations for all three appeals can be submitted online to the Planning Inspectorate at: pcs.planningportal.gov.uk/pcsportal/ViewCase.asp?caseid=2198313&coid=2568 using the reference number APP/G5750/A/13/2198313. You may also comment to the Planning Inspectorate directly using the e-mail: [email protected]. The Inspectorate Case Officer is Ms Helen Skinner. If you wish to make representations in hard copy, they should be submitted in triplicate to the Planning Inspectorate, 3/26 Hawk Wing, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN, quoting the reference number APP/G5750/A/13/2198313. Note that representations previously made to the Council in respect of the refusal of outline planning permission have already been forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate and the Appellant. It is not necessary to resubmit the same representation unless you have additional comments to make. Representations for all three appeals made either electronically or in hard copy, must be received by 27th December, 2013. Any representations received after this deadline may not be accepted, but this is at the discretion of the Secretary of State. Please note that representations may only be taken into account if they are disclosed to all parties. Also note that neither the Planning Inspectorate nor the Council will acknowledge representations, however if they are submitted by the deadline they will be passed to the Planning Inspector for consideration. Public Inquiry An Inspector has been appointed by the Secretary of State to hold a public inquiry into the appeals. The Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State is: Mr Doug Morden, MRTPI. The Secretary of State will issue decision on the appeals. A public inquiry into all three appeals will be held at: South Gallery Rooms 3 and 4, ExCel London Exhibition and Convention Centre, 1 Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London, E16 1XL The Inquiry will commence at 10.00 am on 3rd June, 2014 and is estimated to run for 12 days. Members of the public may attend the Inquiry, and at the discretion of the Inspector, express their views.
