Dear Sir: Per Memorandum Order ADD-01-019 dated 2 July 2001, temporary visitors who have remained in the Philippines for a period of six (6) months and beyond, shall be required to secure regular Emigration Clearance Certificate (ECC) prior to departure. You may come to BI for at least one (1) week prior to your departure. Provided below are the requirements and fees for the said transaction. Requirements: Duly filled-up application form (you may get this at the BI office upon application), Copy of applicant’s Tourist I-Card 5 pcs. colored photo (size 2x2 ) white background, Photocopy of passport (biopage, latest arrival stamp and visa extension stamp) Copy of passport of parent/s traveling with applicant below 18 years old Receipt for payment of appropriate immigration fees *Please take note that personal appearance is required for fingerprinting. Fees for Tourist Visa 9(a): Express Lane Fee Php 500.00 *Additional fees may be required upon checking of documents ECC Php 700.00 ACR 1,010.00 Additional ACR 500.00 Additional ECC 500.00 Timeline: Applications for ECC takes two (2) to three (3) days before it will be released. Please be informed that ECC for tourists may be applied at the BI Main office or in selected District Offices (Batangas, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Clark, Legazpi, Tacloban and Tuguegarao), Satellite Offices (SM North Edsa, Sta. Rosa, Taytay), Field Offices (Baguio, Bataan, Boracay, Butuan, Cauayan, General Santos, Glan, Kalibo, Lucena, Naga, Olongapo, Zamboanga), and Clark One-Stop-Shop. ECC for Tourists may not be applied at any international airport in the Philippines. Without the ECC, you will not be allowed to leave the country. With regard to Annual Report (AR), please be informed that tourists or temporary visitors are not required to file for Annual Report. However, the AR fee will be included upon visa extension.
