PREAMBLE This is officially to introduce to you Aristeph Entrepreneurs Centre (ASTEC – E.A) as a Practical social entrepreneurial community development centre that started in 2008, and formally registered in September 2011 with a registration number (Reg No:180364). It was officially established by a young entrepreneur (Arinitwe Stephen) who is a double winner of young achievers awards in the category of business trade for the year 2009 and in 2011; he also won another award for the young achievers awards in the category of Victoria university leadership and governance Award. In addition, he is the founder member, business resource person and an artist / presenter of UBC TV – young entrepreneurs program. Since 2010 ‘We are the network for young entrepreneurs’. We have inspired, educated, empowered and motivated the world! Also Stephen is an Alumni member of Junior Achievement – Uganda company program since 2008, an associate member to The Private Education Development Network (PEDN) and a sawa spark with a Canadian based sawa world organization, NGOs that promotes Youth entrepreneurship and financial education among the young people.’ Start now, succeed early’. The entrepreneur has acquired several certificates in various business and media related courses and events for his effort towards practical business journalism and entrepreneurial spirit. Vision To discover and create a mass self – reliance and resourceful opportunities among the Ugandans (youth) hence creating more job founders than seekers. Mission Establishing a mass measurable, achievable and sustainable income generating entrepreneurial practical skills so as to empower, equip, educate and capacity building through hands on practical trainings and media prime commercial strategy discovery using the available local solutions. The goal To build and become an inspirational network centre for young entrepreneurs in East Africa and whole world at large.
