Dear Society, Please refrain from calling a person who has bipolar - TopicsExpress

Dear Society, Please refrain from calling a person who has bipolar a bipolar, a person who is autistic an autistic, please do not perceive anyone who lives with any mental health diagnosis as just their diagnosis. Would you call someone who lives with cancer a cancer, I don’t think so do you? We are not walking talking labels we have feelings and emotions just like the undiagnosed too. Dear Society, We are all walking along our journey of life carrying our differences and similarities too, no one is better than another we need to realise that do you? Please remember that mental health illness does not discriminate, so what gives you the right to? Don’t judge or make fun out of something you don’t understand, because mental illness can happen to anyone as we all have mental health, oh yes we do ~ Cassie ~ globalmentalhealthawareness/cassies-blog/dear-society
