Heres the thing, when Georgia originally moved the team here, LA was still LA..with its geo-socio-economic embarrassment of riches majestic Santa Anas, the Pacific ocean, 2 seasons within a 2 hour drive, the gajillion dollar entertainment industry and most importantly, In-N-Out Burger. Now, I get that youre a business man, obviously a most astute one, and that this is a business decision, but youre leaving behind an entirely different set of circumstances here when you pull up stakes.. AB isnt locally owned anymore. We cant pay for police we need to protect us or educate the poorest children of this region. 2014 was a tough year for us, maybe youve read about it in the LA or London papers?? Look, we both know the Parkway Central JV Colts have put on a better show than the NFL team weve supported these last 12 seasons, but your die-hard fans have persevered, soldiered on, lived and mostly died with you all. Im married to one. See, I jumped off the bandwagon when you started talking about putting/taking jack in and out of the community and refreshing your look...(hey, we wives know the signs and arent stupid when it comes to the siren call of Malibu.) This is probably it for us, there wont be any more NFL love for STL. We are a very proud people with a darn fine and blessedly loyal baseball franchise and well be ok. I just want you to know that your team was a significant source of pride for many in this community and we hoped that after years of believing in you when your team was struggling, that maybe you believed in us too.
