Dear Student Leaders, Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) Malaysia is a programme run by consultants from the Kuala Lumpur office of McKinsey & Company. YLA is a leadership development program designed for local university students. Student participants will be supported and coached by consultants from McKinsey and distinguished leaders in Malaysia (e.g. Dr. Habibah, Project Manager of PMO Ministry of Education; and Yeoh Chen Chow, COO of Groupon Malaysia). Participants will work in teams to drive social entrepreneurship projects over a period of 12 weeks. Notable projects in the past have ranged from distributing bread to the homeless to writing, publishing and distributing a book on the legal profession to aspiring lawyers in high school. Given the exceptional participation and performance from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahmans students during past YLAs, they would be delighted to once again invite 15 - 20 high performing students from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman to their invite-only recruitment session on 5th April 2014 or 12th April 2014 .
