Dear Students, Delgado Community College and the Delgado Community College Foundation Board are pleased to offer eligible students a great opportunity! The GAP Textbook Assistance Program was established by the Delgado Community College Foundation Board. The program is funded through personal contributions from the College’s faculty and staff and also through fundraising efforts of the foundation. GAP funds are provided to eligible students to assist with the cost of textbooks. Students who receive financial aid will have to repay the amount of the award before receiving their refunds. Out-of-state and International students who meet the criteria are also eligible. Students must meet the following criteria to be considered, so please do not apply if you do not meet all 4 criteria. The deadline to apply is the close of business on Friday, August 23 or when we reach our maximum. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. Eligible students must: • Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA • Have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours • Be in good Academic Standing, Judicial Standing, and meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Policy • Be already enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall 2012 Eligible students who are interested in applying for the GAP Textbook Assistance funds should go to Gap Scholarship Application Selected students will be notified via email or by phone no later than Tuesday, August 27 and will have to pick up award letters from an office on your campus/site within 24 hours and brought to the bookstore by Friday, August 30.
