Dear Students and Faculty, Consider applying to the annual AAS awards! [See Attached Doc] To be considered for one of the departmental awards, applicants must: 1) Complete the AAS Student Awards Application Form; 2) Write three brief essays (see page 2 for essay prompts); and 3) Submit a 1-page Resume (see page 3 for suggested format). Note that to receive one of the AAS awards, you are also required to attend the annual AAS/ EOP Distinguished Speaker and Student Awards event scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 5pm. All materials must be completed and emailed as an attachment (Microsoft Word Doc or PDF) to Professor Tracy Buenavista at [email protected] by SUNDAY, MARCH 16, 2014 at 5pm. You can self-nominate by completing an application. You can peer-nominate by sending a brief paragraph about your peer to Professor Buenavista, and encouraging her/ him to complete the application. Faculty can nominate a student by sending a brief paragraph about your student to Professor Buenavista, and encouraging her/ him to complete the application.
