Dear Supporters, I would like to start off by saying a massive thank-you to each and every one of you for your support from the very beginning, this time last year to be in this position so close to launch with over 15,000 eager people waiting to jump in was somewhat of a pipedream. In the beginning as some may remember we had set-back after set-back, and we had no momentum moving forward, we were effectively stuck on less than 3,000 people who were even aware of our existence. Since then we have gone from strength to strength largely to all of you, the word of mouth from our supporters to friends and enemies alike has been over whelming, and you showed this by raising over £62,000 on our Fundrazr page. We have increased as a company from 6-7 eager helpers, to nearly 40, and with over 150 people who have helped in one way or another to create something for Konka, not to mention the thousands who contributed and suggested ideas for our project via our Forum and Facebook, to not only create something that we are proud to call ours but one that was funded from many ideas from you. We are now less than 1 month away from the Launch of Alpha (1st November) but we still only have 15,000 members waiting to play, while this is a great number, we as I’m sure you are all aware, are very ambitious, and would like to save as many gamers as possible and show them gaming salvation and the right respect and the right calibre of game that they should be playing. This is why we have decided to close the Fundrazr pledge system, and are launching Kickstarter. A 30 day campaign to enable us to remain funded (including having the money for fixes etc.) through months November to March, Whilst also having the available funds to advertise and bring in as many new players as possible so the game will be populated and enable you all to have as much fun playing our product as possible. There are new pledge levels as well as physical goods that some may be interested in. We are Konka Studios, and you are the community that built us. Thank-you all. Steve Wishart CEO
