Dear TRS, U lied: Those cars belong to families attending Edusave Merit awards. Do you know LTA also do not summon WPs supporters attending the WPs rally? Fabrications received 2 private message, one of them whose car was illegally park in the said video was attending his cousins Edusave merit award ceremony at the CC: Message A) Dear Fabrications, Would like to share this incident with you, hope you can do some justice to the issue. Let me just share my story here again from the first The Real Singapore post on this topic. I decided to share this with you as even though i illegally parked at the area and risk getting summon for telling the public about this, i think some justice must be done to avoid TRS pinning the blame on untruthful allegations. Cant stand injustice. Really hope you can do something about it to clear the grassroots volunteers and LTA officers name. So heres my story below: Firstly, nowhere in the video did the LTA officer said it was instructed to not issue the summon to PAP grassroots leaders isnt it? TRS, U have to be fair and rationale here and not mislead the public with such a sensationalized title. Not sure how you came up with the conclusion that the LTA officer was specifically instructed to do so. Anyway, I was there at the CC with my cousin to attend her Edusave Merit Bursary award. We parked along the road (yes, the same road in the video. My car was somewhere at the back) together with other parents as we did not want to walk too far. As far as our family was aware of, those that parked with us were also parents since they came with their kids. Was it illegal? Yes. We knew it. But like other parents who drove there, we kept neatly to the side of the road and did not hindered the main drive way. We knew the risk and went ahead anyway, knowing that if we did get a summon, we just have to face it and pay for it. BUT we did make sure we were not obstructing the traffic. We did see the LTA officer taking photos of our cars so who knows, even if he did not summon on the spot, we might still get it at a later date? Message B) TRS again trying to incite misunderstanding and hatred amongst Singaporeans. Could you do a post to expose them? 1) Maybe im wrong, but in the video i did not hear the officer mentioning that his superiors told him not to issue any summon for these cars that belongs to PAP grassroot leaders even though they parked illegally. The officer simply say that his instruction is not to summon the drivers. Nothing is mentioned about grassroot leaders or political parties. 2) Most Singaporeans should know or have come across situations whereby LTA traffic enforcement officers try not to summon drivers (e.g. Friday mosque, void deck wedding/funeral, religion proceedings, before/after school) In fact, just last week while picking up my son from his primary school, i saw an LTA officer ignoring all the cars that were parked beside the road while waiting to pick up their kids after school. Most Singaporeans SHOULD know about these situations! TRS is obviously trying to incite hatred via misunderstanding and anyone whom take offence with the post obviously either do not live in Sgp or else are opportunist whom will jump at any chance to further their own political agenda even if via lies.
