Dear Team, We are glad to inform you that AMP organized its 4th Job Fair at Anjuman Khairul Islam School, Madanpura, Mumbai on 28th Sept 14. Once again, this Job Fair also received overwhelming response from candidates in Mumbai. More than 300 people attended the Job fair in the hope of finding a job as per the qualifications & experience. HR persons of 14 companies attended this event.These companies had vacancies for roles in Accounts, Sales, Back office, Call Center, Admin and other departments. Around 85 candidates were given on-the-spot offers by recruiters while another 60 were short-listed for next rounds of interviews. Many of these recruiters had also participated in our earlier Job Fairs. All of them were pleased with the arrangements and the response in terms of candidates who had come for the event. AMP believes that the Indian Youth has lot of potential and are very skilled, however due to extremely competitive environment, many a times they are unable to find a suitable job. Such events are therefore needed on a regular basis to give these people a fair platform to demonstrate their skills and prove their potential. We have also started conducting employability training for these young people so that they can be better prepared for future opportunities. Keeping in mind AMPs core objective of supporting the community in Economic Empowerment, we aspire to replicate this model across the country.
