Dear Team Yel-Lou, Lou has suffered a stroke that has affected all of her left side. It was difficult news to hear after she did so well thru surgery and being decently coherent this morning. It has been a long, tough day for Dave, her brother Robert and Brittany. Due to the surgery, they cannot give her blood thinners, putting her at risk for more strokes. Tomorrow, Dave and family will meet with Doctors to discuss decisions to be made, the possibility of Hospice care being one of them. Prayers for Gods Guidance in deciding what is best for Lou at this time. May Holy spirit comfort Lou, her family and all us who have grown to so Love Lou-Lou...her Spirit, Goofiness, Pureness of Love and even the repeated stories she tells us! As I prayed for the right words to share this news with all of you, this song is what is going thru my head, burning in my heart and heard in Lous sweet voice: This little light of mine, Im goin let it shine, this little light of mine, Im goin let it shine, Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine! and with her giggle saying, I dont know all the words, but I sure do know how to let it shine! God Love her, she certainly shined her light in the lives she has touched throughout this journey.
