Dear Tim Nolan, In just three weeks, thousands of people will gather in New York City for the Peoples Climate March. Will you be there? Let us know youre coming to the Peoples Climate March on September 21. Ill be going to New York for the march, and I hope you will look for our lobbyist Jose Aguto and me when youre there. Were working with the Quaker United Nations Office, Quaker Earthcare Witness, American Friends Service Committee, Earth Quaker Action Team and Quakers in New York City to mobilize Friends around the country. Please consider marching with us and other Quakers. The Peoples Climate March will be two days before the UN Climate Summit in New York, an opportunity to rally support for climate negotiations in 2015. The summit is the best chance to get U.S. leaders and negotiators on board with an ambitious climate agreement that will address the climate crisis head-on. And the Peoples Climate March is an important way to show that the U.S. wants and needs action. Will you march with the Quakers and friends on September 21? I hope you can join us in New York!
