Silky Voice grew up as a child having the opportunity to play around with his father’s recording equipments, such as synthesizers since his father was a singer. At the age of 6, he started learning the piano. When he was 7, he got his first personal computer, which allowed him to program and produce his own electronic music. His first programming was on Bach’s “Little, Fugue in G minor” and Yellow Magic Orchestra’s “Rydeen”. He also started learning the drum at the age of 15 with Osami Mizuno as his instructor. At 17, Ariga Makoto-mon became his new percussion advisor. When he was 19, he enrolled in Berklee College of Music in Boston with Casey Scheurell as his drum instructor. After graduating college, he started working as a producer in Japan. The major artists that Silky Voice has produced up until now are Kyosuke Himuro, Kazuya Yoshii, ARASHI, KAT-TUN, HaKU and CNBLUE. He has also achieved a triple platinum disc and 55 No. 1 hit discs on the Oricon chart. The music that he has produced sold over 10 million singles, 5 million albums, and 7 million DVD’s in Japan. In 2014, he released his first self produced EP called “Silky Voice” which was created using his synthesizer.
