Dear Tolekan -- Many apologies for this belated email. I hope all is well since we met at the WLPs annual meeting at Bolger Center, near Washington DC. I would like to thank you profusely for the wonderful and rare gifts from Kyrgyzstan. I just finished watching the videos and they are all so moving portraying people and human condition from many parts of the world. I watched with great interest the ones that features Kyrgyzstan, especially the documentary that features Village Zardaly. What a spectacular view and beautiful people! I hope I have to chance to visit some day. I will be sending the videos to be cataloged for our library collection. I am sure our media librarian will be thrilled to see this years film festival catalog. I am also sending to the cataloging dept. the report Analysis of early marriage and early maternity in Kyrgyzstan. It will be added to our collection as well. The glass case made by Kyrgyz women is very special. I watched recently a documentary by an American filmmaker about the feltmaking tradition in your country. As I look at the glass case it makes me feel a little closer to your tradition. Apologies once again for this belated note. I hope our paths cross again in a near future. Best wishes, Kayo
