Dear Tom, how do I know when it’s right time to put on a PA? Interesting question, the best time is when you have to much ‘stuff’ to do and it’s hold you back from getting more listings. Most agents get a P.A. when they are around the $200-300K GCI mark. Understand that the most important part is not WHEN to get a P.A. but how you will WORK WITH your P.A. Most agents think that P.A.s are there to arrange paperwork and get coffee orders. But the real value of a P.A. is to become your prospecting arm and to get more listings. So you have the time to be out there in the market having the crucial conversations and negotiating sales.
