Dear Trader Joes, Im a Californian, living in High Point for 25 - TopicsExpress

Dear Trader Joes, Im a Californian, living in High Point for 25 years. When asked what I miss about home, my first answer has always been Trader Joes. Until you began opening stores in North Carolina, few had any idea what I meant. As much as I miss shopping with you, Im simply unwilling to drive one hour or more round trip for the pleasure. For this reason, Im not much of a customer anymore unless I happen to find myself near one of your locations. In this group, several thousand High Point citizens are doing their best to catch your attention and attract you to our town. I suppose opening a new store is a very complicated and lengthy process that depends on the answers to some rather simple questions... i.e., How much will we sell? How much profit will we make? How much market share can we gain? What could possibly go wrong? Etc. Heres what Im willing to do in response to the first and third questions... If youre interested, I will deposit $2,500 into an escrow account. If you open a store inside High Points city limits within the next 24 months, you keep my money and give me an equivalent credit in the store. If you dont, the money returns to me. I dont have real estate to sell you. I dont want a job. I dont have an opinion about the best location for you. I simply want to be your customer again and Im willing to pay in advance to help you decide.
