Dear Transylvania County Citizens, Tonight at our Board of Commissioners meeting I formally announced that I will be a candidate for reelection to the Board in 2014. I fully appreciate the support and confidence you have placed in me over the past 3 years and I look forward to being able to continue to serve you and represent our county as we still face many challenges ahead of us. I do feel very confident that we are on the right path and are working hard to keep our county on the road to economic recovery. Economic development and helping the private sector expand and grow their businesses will continue to be one of my main priorities. I look forward to hearing from you regarding your vision and desires for our county. This is the most wonderful place in the country to live, raise a family and retire to and my promise to you is that I will do all I can to keep it that way.
