Dear UKSLSS members, We are pleased to announce the second firm participating in this years Law in Singapore series of firm visits. The aim of this series is to allow university students to find out first-hand, the working culture and recruitment policy of Singapores top local and international firms. The second firm participating in this years series will be Rajah & Tann, the largest law firm in Singapore and South East Asia with over 480 fee earners. The firm is a long-standing and ardent supporter of the UKSLSS. Eleven practices from Rajah & Tann were ranked in the top two tiers of the ranking released by Chambers & Partners in their 2014 edition. It was also awarded Singapore Law Firm of the Year at the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards 2014 and featured in the Financial Times as a ‘highly commended firm’. Senior lawyers and graduate recruiters from Rajah & Tann will be hosting a firm visit at 5.30 pm on 18th August 2014. The event will start with a tour of the office followed by a brief overview of the firm and the array of internship and training contract opportunities available. The visit will end with a drinks session, where attendees can mingle with their lawyers informally.
