Dear US Postal Service: Picture 1 shows the origination and destination of the package that I sent via Priority Mail on 12/2 by dropping it off at a postbox at the Post Office located at 8320 13th Ave in Brooklyn, NY. (I used USPS. The delivery address is correct as I have sent more than 100 packages in 2 years to the destination). Its pretty much a straight paith and the anticipated delivery date was 12/4. Picture 2 shows the path it has taken and alleged current location of said package as of 12/6/14. So far, it has traveled 96.9 miles in almost a complete circle. This isnt the first time this has happened with Priority Mail between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Last year a package traveling to the same desitantion that should have taken 1 day took a cross-country trip and was delivered nearly 2 1/2 weeks later. Perhaps your need to work on your logistics software or sorting proceedures to ensure that packages take the most direct path through the nearest sorting facilities in order to arrive at its intended destination by its expected delivery time. You have lost me as a customer during the holidays for anything other than first class mail as Ill be using FedEx and UPS instead.
