Dear UTown, Not too long ago there was a young boy eager to find his fortune. He consulted many fortunetellers but couldn’t satiate his urge. He always looked around intently for the ‘signs’, which might lead him to his fortune. One day while strolling down the street he found a stack of hay. Compelled by his curios nature, he dug into the haystack and discovered a hair-thin gold needle. He took the needle to the wisest man in town. The wise man said, “This is the best your life can give you and now it is up to you how best you can make out of it.” The young boy registered the advice, kept the needle in his pocket and walked off. Not much had been known about the boy since then; but years later the old wise man started recounting stories of a successful cloth merchant and an unbalanced wanderer to his grandchildren. There comes in life some moments rather periods which change the course of one’s life altogether. You were such a metamorphic opportunity, allowing me to have lived in one of the finest and vibrant campus accommodations in the world. This years-long companionship has impacted my life the most by far and shaped it in many ways. I have had achieved my coveted childhood dreams in your cuddle, earned lifelong friendships, enjoyed the heartiest laughs, basked in glories, shook hands with the most amazing personalities, listened to the most profound words and undoubtedly had the best days of my life. You also have challenged my beliefs, shattered my confidence, crushed my pride, questioned my integrity, tested my temper, played with my emotions, deprived me of a few loved ones and poked me with the same golden needle.
