Dear Vehicle Burglar, I got home around midnight the other night and made the mistake of NOT locking my car (I just moved and garage was full, and I totally FAILED the locking my car thing .. OMG). Even worse, I left my wallet (not purse, just wallet) in the drivers door. In my driveway. In Summerlin. In a nice neighborhood. Totally MY BAD! Big lesson learned! From what I can gather - thieves are trolling neighborhoods and checking car doors ... and ..... By 3am same night the thieves were attempting to use my credit cards/debit cards at Terribles and Circle K. EPIC FAIL! Whew.... because I moved, I changed my address with everyone online - but NOT my drivers license yet, because my birthday is this month so I was waiting. Different zip code totally messed them up! Ha!!! Nah, nah, nah!!! I thought I would be more upset about this than I am - Cards are all secure, bank accounts not damaged, social security card NOT in wallet!!! Took me about 2-3 hours on phone and DMV to put my life back together, so no major issues ....... HOWEVER, Im mad because it was my favorite wallet - AND THEY TOOK MY COACH CLUTCH THAT WAS ACTUALLY MY MAKEUP BAG!! Do you know what its like to NOT HAVE MAKEUP!! Holy Naked Face Batman .... scrambled and created a new bag and Im okay now! Hope this helps everyone else become a bit more aware of being safe! This is the time of year when more burglaries happen, so be smart people!!!
