Dear Violent Misogynistic Person: Ive almost unfriended you a million times. Ive used those moments as a way to ease my heart open to your suffering, even if that expression hurt me. Unwittingly, your provocations have taught me compassion. Thank you. While I respect your right to Be and accept that your opinions are your own, I can no longer abide your using feeble attempts at wit as a patina of humor. You attempt to mask a wounded, hateful scorn that will taint your heart and soul until you heal it. I invite you to reclaim your own power instead of minimizing others from a need for inflated superiority rooted in your gender identity. You will deny these activities, claiming (as you have previously) that you are picked on for being called out. Im good with that. Even if Im incorrect, however, and you are not a racist, assinine, puerile misogynist, I am gratefully removing myself from your sphere of influence (as in your FB stuff getting itself into my eyeballs by accident as I scroll through). Your children have my every empathy; I pray being raised by you becomes the blessing of having learned young how to stand their ground against bigotry and shaming as humans--maybe even women. I wish you peace and healing; I understand you are much a part of the All as I am. Thank you for reminding me who I am and how I want to be in this world--even if apophatically.
